FAQs

11) What time can I study, access my course?
The course you bought is accessible 24/7, that means you can access it every day of the year, 24 hours a day. You can study for 5 minutes at a time, or if you so desire, you can study the whole 24 hours a day. That is the flexibility of studying at Learn with Hans.
22) How long does the course last?
Your course is always valid for 30 days. It will automatically renew for another month, unless you decide to stop studying, or you decide that you have reached your goals.
33) Do I have to do the course in the order it is given?
No. You can do the course in any order you want. You have the freedom to do whatever topic/lesson you feel you need to study. The platform will record your overall progress, which will allow you to see your progress in your learning. Although we strongly suggest that you start at the level that is appropriate for your learning, but we won’t take away your curiosity in exploring other levels and lessons.
44) Do you offer a trial period?
No. At Learn with Hans, we are sure that we you will like what you get. We have put more than 27 years of knowledge and dedication into our lessons. That experience has given us a lot of feedback and insights on how most students learn a language and have backed it up with many practice moments as well as up to date information on culture, new language use, and vocabulary.
55) When I buy a course, do I also get updates and new lessons?
Yes. We add new content to our courses on a weekly basis. Every Sunday, new content will be added. That means, you will have access to this new content as long as you are enrolled in the course.
66) Can I cancel the course at any time?
Yes. Of course, we would hate to see you go, but we understand that there might be a force at work that would prevent you from continuing. In that case you can cancel the course, after which you still have access to it for the time you have paid. NOTE: We do not give money back for a canceled course.
77) Can I book lesson at any time?
No. Lessons can only be booked in the available calendar slots of the calendar in the platform. Lessons are given to a first come first serve basis. Having said that, if there are no time slots available, you have to look for a different day and time that might suit your needs. You can also look at group lesson, which might still have slots available.
88) How do group lessons work?
Group lessons are lesson with a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10 students. The topics of the group lessons are based on request of students given to us, and the topic(s) will be posted on the calendar. Students can then enroll in these lessons on a first come first served basis. Enrollment will automatically close when the max number of students is reached.
99) What are workshops, and how do they work?
Workshops are specialized sessions in which a specific topic is treated. Think for example; changes in exam testing that would affect students, cultural topics, how to sessions regarding language, testing, or legal procedures, and much, much, more. Workshops have a max capacity of 50 students, and can be accessed through the site calendar, which will also state the topic of the workshop. Again, enrollment is on a first come first served basis.
1010) What information will I get in the newsletter?
The newsletter will give you updates on new lessons, quizzes, topics, and more in your course. It will also give you important updates that happened or will happen on our platform, as well as give you dates, times, and topics of group lessons and workshops to come. So make sure to check them out, and don’t forget to give us your email.
